Rambagh Palace Jaipur India
Aman i Khas Ranthambhore India
Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan, is popularly known as the 'Pink City' because of the pink-coloured buildings in its old city. It sits on a dry lakebed in a somewhat arid landscape, surrounded by barren hills surmounted by forts and crenulated walls.
This buzzing metropolis is certainly a place of wild contrasts and a feast for the eyes.
All through, Jaipur has retained its strong Rajputana flavour tempered by several influences - the mughal being the most prominent. The region's strong cultural heritage is distinctly evident even today.
The city is a visitor's delight. From the intricate, delicate looking Hawa Mahal to the graphic forms of the Jantar Mantar - an open air observatory of outsized astronomical instruments, the Badi Chaupar lined with shops and business establishments on both sides to the majestic fort-palace at Amber; from the colourful fountains of life to the sublime Birla Temple; from the architectural delight of the City Palace to the serene Jal Mahal, Jaipur is a spectators city.
Aman -i- Khas is a luxury jungle resort on the edge of the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve one of the best places in India to see tigers.
Enjoy jeep safaris to see sloths, leopard, chital, deer, monkeys, and a wide variety of exotic and colourful birds and, of course, tigers. Aman-i-Khas, Mughal style is the genius of Jean-Michel Gathy, tents with a jumbo daybed at the centre and the canopy soaring offer's you the sensation of regal comfort and luxury in the grandeur of ancient India.

Aman -i- Khas - Jaipur
Aman-i-Khas is a luxurious camp pitched in the hills of Aravalli. Located on the outskirts of Ranthambore National Park, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in the world and one of the few places where it is still possible to see tigers in their native habitat.
Aman-i-Khas offers the best to the discerning needs of an elitist traveller, hotel luxury in elegantly furnished and spacious tents. Of them three are specially appointed for lounging, dining and spa treatments. Set on raised concrete plinth each tent covers area almost equal to an apartment.
There are fifteen exclusive air-conditioned tents with spacious interiors designed in Mughal style. All the tents are elegantly furnished and take their inspiration from Mughal architecture, possessing separate 'rooms' divided by cotton cloths. Each tent has a living room complete with sofa, table and chairs, an inner bedroom, containing a comfortable four-poster bed, a bathroom and a dressing room.
The beguiling setting, on the edge of the former Maharajah's hunting ground, Ranthambhore Park, is pitch perfect. The tents reminiscent the splendid travelling Moghul camps, which were favoured, by the Emperors and their entourage during the hunting seasons of this richly elaborate period. Each luxury tent is expansively designed beneath a soaring six-metre canopy, allowing nature to be observed at close quarters beside delicate fine drapes. The wooden ceiling fan turns in harmony with nature's mystical sounds, encouraging sound and soothing sleep.
