The famous Sariska Tiger Reserve is nearby. Situated in the midst of the arid Aravallis is the regal Amanbagh.

Amanbagh - Alwar
Amanbagh derives its name from the words aman, meaning ‘peaceful' in Sanskrit and bagh, meaning ‘garden' in Hindi. Amanbagh is designed with an aesthetic eye and pays homage to its grand "Moghul" and is entwined in the luxuriant spoils of a rural setting.
Sandstone cupolas and inner courtyards with serene soft pink marble evoke the lustre and splendour of India's golden age. Amanbagh is a regal garden estate in the starkly beautiful wilds of Rajasthan. Circled by walls, which enclose a verdant oasis watered by a nearby lake and tributaries of the Chambal River, Amanbagh was once the site of the Maharajah of Alwar's hunting lodge, and his favored garden retreat.
The resort today is every bit a modern day "palace," conceived in the present, but humbly paying homage to the traditional architecture and design that has prevailed throughout the past. The accommodation is on either side of the swimming pool and selected pavilions are located on the perimeter of the resort and offer their own private swimming pool and spacious garden.
The multi- cuisine restaurant provides an intimate atmosphere and the food is simple, home-style, Indian cuisine with a choice of Western dishes also available.
Other facilities include a spa to pamper yourself and a boutique to indulge in the exquisite finery and embroidery of Rajasthan.
