PROPERTY LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION

Set in a lush garden enclosure, this former grand guesthouse that once belonged to King Norodom Sihanouk in the mid 1960s, is only ten minutes from the extraordinary ancient temple ruins of Angkor Wat. Reminiscent of classic 60's design, it is a peaceful contemporary and warm sanctuary despite a fretful yet fascinating legacy. Two dozen suites, including twelve with private swimming pools surround a central grassy courtyard. Each room features a generous lounging area, furnished patio and an oversized bath with soaking tub and separate shower. Each suite has access to its own custom fitted remork and driver for personal expeditions. Outdoor landscaping is highlighted by a curved slate swimming pool surrounded by cushioned loungers and shaded pergola for dining or the Roof Garden, the perfect place to relax or take invigorating yoga sessions in the cool.

HOW TO GET THERE

Guests can fly from Bangkok, Singapore and other countries to
the international airport at Siem Reap. Complimentary transfers
to and from the airport are provided by the resort.

SUITE ROOM
DESCRIPTION: Features an open plan setting with finishes in terrazzo and timber. Colours are muted and earthy. Entry is to a combined sleeping and living area that contains a large writing desk and a king-size bed. Adjacent is a dressing area with hanging cupboards and drawers. The lounge has a large sofa, an informal circular dining table and chairs. Beyond, and leading down a few steps, is the bathroom which opens onto a light-filled courtyard featuring a water garden and cushioned banquette. Floor to ceiling glass doors offer views of the courtyard which features a small water garden. Each suite is air conditioned with ceiling fans and a music system.
