The hotel is located on a 38-acre site atop a tree-clad hill, close to the town of Paro, which is one of the main cultural centres of Bhutan. The country's only airport is nearby. The hotel staff have substantial experience in trekking and cultural excursions, taking guests all over the country to explore monasteries, markets and hidden Himalayan valleys.

HOW TO GET THERE

The international airport in Paro is the Kingdom's only airport.

Druk Air, Bhutan's national carrier flies to Paro airport from
Delhi, Calcutta, Kathmandu, Bangkok and Dhaka. Flights from
Bangkok take approx. 3hrs and 20 mins.

Uma Paro is a 10-minute drive from Paro airport. Transfers are
available. Fees apply.
