Amankora has created a series of lodges, all creatively unique and sympathetically balanced to their environment, in order to discover and comprehend the extraordinary wonders above and beneath this treasured land. The lodges are created to provide a circular pilgrimage in Bhutan's breathtakingly spectacular central and western valleys.

PROPERTY LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION

Thirty minutes from Paros international airport, the Paro lodge contrasts rustic with the contemporary, featuring natural rammed-earth walls, gentle sloping roofs and wood-panelled interiors. A lime-washed stone pavillion houses the living and dining rooms, library, boutique and outdoor terrace. Behind the main cluster of buildings is the Spa which has a sauna, steam room, five treatment rooms with hot stone baths, changing rooms and a glass-walled yoga suite.

HOW TO GET THERE

The international airport in Paro is the Kingdom's only airport.

Druk Air, Bhutan's national carrier flies to Paro airport from
Delhi, Calcutta, Kathmandu, Bangkok and Dhaka. Flights from
Bangkok take approx. 3hrs and 20 mins.

Amankora Paro is a 30-minute drive from Paro airport and
complimentary arrival and departure transfers are included in
the guest programme.

CHILD POLICY: A maximum of 1 child up to 4 years old stays free in existing bedding (rollaway complimentary) with parents.

AMANKORA PARO SUITE (Total: 24 Suites)
DESCRIPTION: There are six dwellings with four suites each, two on the ground floor and two on the upper floor. The 24 suites are similar in design featuring natural rammed-earth walls, gently sloping roofs and wood-panelled interiors with a king- size bed, traditional bukhari (wood-burning stove) and a large terrazzo-clad bath.

- Cancellation notices received 60 days prior to arrival date
a full refund will be given to the paxs.
- If a cancellation notice is received within the 60 day penalty
period then no refund will be given.
